Testimony of servant of God Irina K, Germany
Where and how should I start to testify to God's grace which is upon Father Oleg?
It seems now that I've always known this without a doubt. How should I talk about my feelings and my inner vision which cannot be expressed by words?
The Lord, in His unspeakable love and mercy, sent me my loved Father as a precious gift.
My soul longed for peace, love and patience, while laboring and being restless in search for a mentor. Several years ago, I started praying to the Apostle John the Divine, the beloved disciple of the Lord, that he would give me the love he had. He led me to the Father Oleg's web-page.
I was carefully listening to what Father Oleg was saying and writing but I couldn't contain and accept everything. Little by little, everything was being put together in my heart. Little by little, peace and rest began coming into my soul and Father's prayers and sermons were healing my heart bruised by sins and sorrows. Recently the Lord gave me an opportunity to meet Father Oleg, I was feeling really nervous overnight, but before going to bed my soul began to jubilate like a baby who is kicking and rejoicing. On that day Igor's baptism took place and we all saw a cross in the sky during the immersion. It was so unusual that I even started videotaping it when the cross started fading away.
Later, when Father stayed for a short time with us on his way to Belgium, I talked with him a little before going to bed and again, my soul was jubilating like a bird that got out of its cage, and there was unspeakable joy.
After the Eucharist, such joy and love came into my heart, that I can't even express it, even my husband and children noticed it. And that wasn't for one day. I had only read about it, but then, I had it myself.
My dear, my sweet ones! Our souls are injured by sins, sorrows and infirmities and are calling out for help. The Lord is sending you His mercy, too, so that you wouldn't go away unhealed. The Lord says, "for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened" (Mat. 7:7-8).
